European pavilion was designed by Uzair Merchant for Global Village (2017-2018). The pavilion referenced different styles of art and architecture. The most prominent influence was of Art Nouveau, popular between 1890 and 1910, inspired by natural forms and structures, particularly the curved lines of plants and flowers.
