The facade of the Europe Pavilion 2018-1019 not only represented architectural and art styles of Europe, but also science and inventions of the countries. For example, the Bodleian Library that represents Gothic architecture has been showcased on the facade. One of the oldest libraries in Europe, it boasts over 12 ,million books and is the research library at the University of Oxford. An eight-and- a-half feet high sculpture of a Roman centurion soldier marked the eastern and of Hadrian’s Wall. He is known as Sentius Tectonius.
